Written by: bikram

A beautiful pair of feet is every woman’s dream and a reason of envy for those who don’t know the secrets of owning them. Well, if you are still thinking getting a gorgeous pair of feet brings hole in the pocket, you are indeed wrong and uninformed. All you need to know is the right process and ingredients of doing a spa like pedicure at home. Just do it twice a month and you won’t stop flaunting your feet in the party. So here goes the spa quality pedicure which comes without the price tag.

Make sure your pedicure session is really soothing and just spa-like. Choose a comfortable, peaceful corner of your house, may be near the balcony or the backyard. Sit on a comfortable chair. Put a tool besides you for keeping the required ingredients and tools. Place one dry and clean towel on the floor. Pamper yourself with good music and your favorite drink.

Start with the removal of existing nail polish. Use good quality acetone-free remover so that they don’t make your nails yellowish. Use cotton bands while removing the polish.

Cut your nails into desired shape with a good quality clipper. File the edges smoothly with a filer. Avoid the metal filers.

Prepare the foot bath with luke warm water in big flat tub. Add salt, 4 tablespoons of oil, lemon juice. Soak your feet for at least 15 minutes. The longer you soak your feet, the better it’s for the dead skins.

Now it’s time to clean your feet. Pick up the nailbrush, foot scraper and pumice stone. Apply an exfoliating foot scrub and slowly remove the dead skin on the balls and heels. Don’t scrub too hard. Make it smooth not dry.

Apply cuticle moisturizer on your nails and rub with fingers for a while. Then remove the cuticles using the orangewood stick, slowly pushing the skin backward.

Wash it out with foot bath liquid. Make your feet dry and place your feet on the dry towel on the floor.

Apply a foot cream or moisturizer and rehydrate nail cuticles with cuticle oil. Wrap your feet with a warm towel for next 5 minutes. It will be extremely relaxing and rejuvenating for the feet.

Separate your toes with cotton balls in between. Apply the transparent coat of polish by three strokes – one in the middle and one on each side. Allow it to dry. Then apply the color you want. Wait for 3 minutes before retouching with the second coat. If you want apply a thin shiny topcoat. Let them dry.

And you are ready to mesmerize the world with your gorgeous pair of feet.
