Instead switch over to natural home remedies, which will not only restore luster and health to your hair, but also make you look at your best hair.

Follow these few simple tips to own a shining cascade of hair

  1. Wash your hair. Now apply one cup of mayonnaise to your wet hair. Cover each hair strand right from the root till the end. If you have long hair increase the quantity as per requirement of hair. Now, wear a shower cap and let the mayonnaise settle in your hair for half an hour. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and allow it to dry naturally.
  2. Take half of banana, half of avocado and egg yolk. Mix altogether. Apply the mixture on wet hair. Put it all over your hair, right from the root till end of each hair strand. Cover your head with a shower cap and allow the mixture to settle down for 30 minutes. Wash your hair with mild shampoo and let it dry naturally.
  3. Take one egg, one table spoon of almond oil, one tablespoon of coconut oil and two tablespoons of honey. Mix them well and apply on wet hair in the similar way as mentioned in above paragraph. Wear shower cap and let it stay for 30 minutes. Then wash it off.
  4. Mix half cup of sunflower oil with half cup of wheat germ oil and one tablespoon of honey. Heat it and apply on wet hair in the same process as mentioned above. In similar process cover your head and wash off after 30 minutes. It will do deep nourishment and deep moisturizing of your hair.
  5. Follow few important small tips. Avoid rubber bands, and use coated hair bands. Don’t rub hair with towel, pat it dry, and allow it to dry naturally. Go for periodical hair cuts to get rid of the split ends. Don’t use curling iron or hot rollers. Don’t brush your hair when it’s wet, instead use wide tooth comb to detangle your hair. Always try to dry your hair naturally instead of using hair dryers, which make hair dry and rough. And last but not the least, take a proper balanced diet. If you are well nourished from within it will reflect in your hair too.

We all are aware of the goodness of facial sessions; how rejuvenating and good they are for our tired, dead skin. But many of us hardly hit a beauty salon fearing a hole in the pocket, time wastage and at times even doubting upon the chemicals they use. But the good news is, you can still do a facial at home. It will not take much time, you can choose ingredients of your own choice and suitable for your skin type and last but not the least it won’t make you bankrupt. Step-by-step guide to home facials

  1. First of all, clean your face. Wash your face with mild soap or face wash gel. Make sure there’s no makeup left on your face. If you want to try hand on homemade cleanser, mix 1-2 table spoon of milk with olive oil. Massage it into skin and use mild warm water to wash it off. If you have oily skin doesn’t use milk and oil combination. You can try tomato juice too. It’s an excellent cleansing agent. Rinse it all over your face and then wash it off.

Put all over your face and rub gently in a circular motion. Put pressure around the nose and temple areas. Rinse with water and wipe off with the warm wash cloth.
  6. Now apply a toner all over your face.
  7. Last, but not the least; moisturize your face. Before going to bed you can put olive oil all over your face, specially around wrinkle prone areas surrounding eyes. Lightly pat your face dry.

The idea of having a whipped cream Irish coffee itself brings water in mouth. Irish coffee with whipped cream in 6 steps

  1. You will need coffee, cream, sugar, and whiskey to prepare the most thrilling Irish coffee ever.
  2. Put water into coffee maker’s water reservoir. Measure 6 ounces of water per person. Put two tablespoons of coffee for every 6 ounce water. Use strong, dark coffee. Only dark coffees do well for Irish coffee. The aroma turns quite enticing. Now brew the coffee.
  3. Pour the coffee into mugs. Make sure the mugs are slightly pre-heated or washed with warm water to avoid the cracks. Fill only 2/3rd of the mug with hot coffee. Make sure the coffee remains hot.
  4. Now add one ounce shot of whiskey and one table spoon of brown sugar in each mug. If you want a really sweetened coffee treat yourself with two tablespoons of brown sugar. Similarly if you want extra kick of whiskey add two ounces of whiskey instead of one. Then stir till sugar dissolves. It will allow the cream to float. Thicken the cream by gently whisking in a bowl.
  5. Carefully pour the thick whipped cream over the back of the spoon and into the coffee. Make sure the cream sits heavy over 3/4th part on the top. Let it float.
  6. Sip the rich Irish coffee through the cream. Sit back and enjoy the piping hot Irish coffee whipped with cream.
