First of all, pre-heat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius temperature for 10 minutes. Line up 12 muffin cups with paper.
Take all dry ingredients in a bowl and make a hole in the centre.
Now, take a small pan. Take dark chocolate and butter. Melt them together over boiling water. Let it cool and settle down, for about 10 minutes time.
Beat an egg along with vegetable oil. Mix it well.
Take another bowl. Mix chocolate and butter mixture along with egg-vegetable oil mixture and milk. Blend all.
Pour the mixture in the centre hole of dry ingredients. Stir until all ingredients are mixed together properly and become smooth. Add some chocolate chips. Save some for later use.
Now fill 3/4th portion of each muffin cups with the mixture. For the rest 1/4th portion sprinkle chocolate chips on top. It will add on to the taste.
Now, bake it for about 20 minutes. Bake until the muffins turn dark in color and plump up.
